Balance enjoyment with job search this summer
Short one for me this week
Many of you are currently looking for jobs or are about to finish university and begin your grad job hunt. Now, while it is important to find your dream job, please do take time to refresh, recharge and enjoy life!
A big thing for me is not job searching on weekends. You spend 5 days a week applying for jobs and interviewing, which is a full-time job in itself!
Make sure to carve out time for yourself on the weekend to do things you enjoy - go to the gym, see your friends, watch a movie, etc. I promise you, taking 2 days off won’t prevent you from landing a job, but not taking time off will definitely burn you out!
